Together with the Cardoso group, FN hotelaria paid a very special tribute to gastronomy.
If you are in the area of Estrada Monumental, there is something new there, bound to catch your eye. A huge wall painting of a chef taking a moment to breathe in the kitchen is in fact a tribute to the profession of Chef.
The idea came out of the celebrations of the 33rd birthday of FN hotelaria who decided that together with the Cardoso group, they would pay a tribute to gastronomy through another form of art.
For that purpose, FN hotelaria invited the artist Bárbara Gil to create the painting that now fills one of the Baía Azul Hotel’s walls with colour.
This is not the first time Bárbara Gil takes on such a huge project. Just last year, as the result of a contest, the artist was invited to reproduce her ‘Zapruder’ on the wall of the Almirante Reis parking building, in the old town of Funchal.
