I arrived to Madeira by chance following an invitation to work at Belmond Reid’s Palace. I had no knowledge regarding the island and knew nothing about this universe in the middle of the Atlantic.
It was only with the passing of years that I gradually got to discover this island, its culture, traditions and people.
“My Madeira” is to me a path of discovery that has yet to be completed, similar to a puzzle ready to be pieced together in spite of the time it will take to do so.
My Madeira is a world that combines various experiences I once tried to put together in an attempt to describe “our” island in a more artistic way:

A dive in the blue ocean to meet the dolphins,
A walk in the mountain to enjoy an untouched nature,
A stroll in Funchal to appreciate a centenary culture,
A visit in one of the countless gardens to enjoy the never ending springtime,
