MSC Cruises have new destination

This cruise firm now has its vessels stopping at the Sir Bani Yas Island.

MSC Cruises just added another exclusive destination for its 2016/2017 winter season. It is the Sir Bani Yas Islands, located 100 kilometers off the coast of Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.

The 1.5 mile-long stretch of land has been transformed into a beach oasis destination, for the exclusive use of MSC Cruises guests. Starting in December, the island can be travelled to by boarding MSC Fantasia, allowing guests to spend a full day on this tropical island.

Enjoying the local gastronomy, relaxing at the MSC Aurea Spa or at the island’s beaches; going for a dive, paddle boarding, kayaking the seas, playing beach volleyball or football, going for a 4x4 expedition or instead cycling the mountain’s trails are just some of the experiences lying in wait for MSC’s guests at Sir Bani Yas.

The island is also one of the largest natural wildlife reservations and is home to more than 13 thousand wild animals, some of them in the process of becoming extinct. One of MSC Cruises’ oases allows access to the reservation.

Regarding the ship, MSc Fantasia is one of the firm’s largest and biggest vessels. It was built in 2008 and comprises 1.250 rooms, 71 suites (for the MSC Yacht Club service) and has modern facilities, five restaurants and a Balinese spa over the sea.

Once on the ship, one can enjoy a cruise 7 to 14 nights long by boarding it at Dubai. The MSC Fantasia’ itinerary comprises stops at Sir Bani Yas, Bahrain, Doha, Khasab, Khor Fakkan and Muscat.

There are ready-made travel packages for those Portuguese people wanting to venture through the Emirates with the ‘Cruzeiros e Voo’ package, including the cruise, Lisbon/Dubai/Lisbon flights with Emirates, the airport fares and the airport/ship/airport transportations.
