The NOS Summer Opening is to host Salvador Sobral at Parque de Santa Catarina.
The winner of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, Salvador Sobral, is one of the poster faces for the 6th edition of the NOS Summer Opening festival, to take place at Parque de Santa Catarina, from where the sea can be viewed, between July 20th and 22nd.
Adding to the programme featuring eleven concerts by regional, national and international performers, the novelty in this event which is a tribute to summer and good vibes is having one more day overall. It blends music with nature by giving you the possibility to acquire two ‘4 Elements’ or ‘4 Elements – Adrenaline’ packs.
There is no shortage of variety during the event’s three days, with music that ranges from bossa nova, reggae, hip-hop and soul. The event opens with Miss D, Mishlawi, Wet Bed Gang, Branko and the debut of Brazilian singer Mallu Magalhães on the 20th.
DJ Dadda, Barbante, Slow J, Piruka and the audience’s beloved Richie Campbell play on the 21st.
Singer of ‘Amar pelos Dois’, Salvador Sobral, takes the stage on July 22nd to cap off the event considered by a national newspaper to be ‘one of the country’s most beautiful music festivals’.
