The Vine Hotel has prepared a special Valentine’s programme
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and with it the intention to create a special day.
The Vine hotel, winner in the World’s Leading Design Hotel category of the World Travel Awards, offers visitors the opportunity to celebrate the date with their loved ones ina romantic way.
There is a special Valentine’s menu, to be served at the Uva Restaurant & Wine Bar, comprising 6 dishes, all with Italian names alluding to love and romance.
‘Un bacio’ is the suggested amuse-bouche, with a cauliflower and sea urchin Royal, cloud of crab bisque.
This is followed by ‘Il mio bene più prezioso’, a scallop salad served in ‘Tataki style, wakamé seaweed and avocado pure.
And there is still the ‘Vogli restare sempre con te’, a ginger and lime freshness, followed by ‘Sei la mia vita’, a chicken ‘Ballotine’ served with blue lobster, spinach, baby vegetables and sauce ‘from land to sea’.
Dessert goes by the name ‘io e te… musica… una sola melodia… il resto non existe’ and is a Love ‘Dôme’ with dark chocolate mousse, raspberry heart and raspberry and rose sorbet.
Even the coffee is given an Italian name: ‘Un minute sense te è come un’ora senza ossigeno…’’.
Enjoying this experience costs 42.50 euros per person and there is the possibility of adding suggested wine pairings, including two red and white special editions released thanks to a partnership with Herdade do Rossim to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the hotel.
Not only does the dinner service benefit from the magnificent views that can be enjoyed from the hotel’s terrace, it will also be endowed with magic by the presence of pianist Kelly Barros.
The Vine hotel also has two different packages, inclusive of accommodation, on offer for Valentine’s: the ‘Love and a Suite’ Package and the ‘Love and a hut’ Package. Both feature dinner served in an exclusive place.
