The festival takes place from December 4th to 7th and it’s the only cultural event on the island entirely dedicated to the digital arts.
The 12th edition of the Madeira Dig Festival brings together 10 international artists who will be performing at the Casa das Mudas Art Centre and the after sessions at Estalagem da Ponta do Sol between the 4th and 7th of December.
Since 2004, the aim of the festival is based on environmental awareness and is worthy of mention as it is the only event entirely dedicated to the digital arts, more specifically to experimental electronic music, cinema and digital video.
The festival is organized by the Agency for the Promotion of Atlantic Culture (APCA) in partnership with Digital in Berlin and the Estalagem da Ponta do Sol.
A day-ticket is priced at 15 euros and a festival ticket (four days) is 50 euros. Discounts are available for youngsters up to 18 years of age and seniors. The full programme and ticket sales are available on the website.
