Christmas in the Footpath’s House

The House-Museum Frederico de Freitas has its doors open to Christmas.

The holiday spirit serves as a tagline for House-Museum Frederico de Freitas to open its doors to all those who wish to see traditional nativity scenes and other holiday-related paraphernalia from the 9th of December to the 16th of January.

This initiative goes by the name of ‘Christmas in the Footpath’s House’ and gather several nativity scene, national and international, from the 17th, 19th, and 20th centuries.

Also worthy of mention are pieces of English faience, silverware, crystal and embroidery in the Dining and Tea rooms which are only shown to the public in this time of the year.

The House-Museum is open Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 5:30p.m. It is also possible to participate in guided tours in groups of a minimum of six people by booking in advance through the email O endereço de e-mail address está sendo protegido de spambots.
