Festival that provides direct contact with Nature.
A weeklong event, this festival features tourist entertainment related to nature and encourages direct contact with the splendour of the natural heritage of the Madeira archipelago.
From the 2nd to the 7th of October there will be plenty of activities for anyone to enjoy, some of which outdoors. There is plenty of different initiatives, involving everything from entertainment to ethnography, sports and Madeiran culture.
As part of this event, the downtown of Funchal will display a photographic exhibition and host a small-scale version of the island’s typical folk festivals where there is no shortage of regional gastronomy to be tasted or folkloric entertainment to be enjoyed.
