On the 26th of August, You Can’t Win, Charlie Brown will be performing at Estalagem da Ponta do Sol.
At 80 meters high, Estalagem da Ponta do Sol is readying its stage to receive You Can’t Win, Charlie Brown (YCWCB), a group from Lisbon, on the 26th of August at 9:45 p.m.
The group was created in 2009 by Afonso Cabral, Salvador Menezes and Luís Costa, having received David Santos soon after (also known as Noiserv he was in last year’s edition of the L Concerts). The group was part of the “Novos talentos FNAC 2009” collection with: Sad Song. A little while after that, in February 2010, they launched an EP of the same name through Optimus Records.
After having launched their first long recording, Chromatic, YCWCB gained two more faces, Tomás Sousa and João Gil.
At Ponta do Sol they will show Diffraction/Refraction, their most recent original song album launched last year which includes songs such as Be My World, After December and Fall for You, hits that have conquered the nation’s stages.
Taking previous editions as an example, those interested in attending are to send their names to the guest list so that the event’s privacy can be respected. This year’s minimum consumption is six euros.
