MSC Cruises announced that its new online booking system, the MSC Book, is already up and running, which makes it easier for travel agents to book reservations in their firms.
Boasting a new look, simple an adaptable, the new online platform was developed based on feedback supplied by partner travel agents from all around the world and is meant to be used by these professionals, exclusively.
Agents can now compare the best cruise options available, add flights and transfers in a more interactive way and choose the type of cabin or check the descriptions of the different Experiences on offer – Bella, Fantastica, Aurea or MSC Yacht Club – adding extra services such as tours, beverage packages or spa treatments.
The MSC Book is going to function as a complete search tool, including detailed information regarding MSC Cruises, ships, itineraries, ports of departure, excursions, latest promotions and all documents required for bookings.
Furthermore, the software also gives travel agents a new sales table with detailed information regarding their revenue and sales commissions, as well as catalogues, a gallery of photos and videos and other communication and informative materials.
The MSC Book has already been functioning in some European markets since 2014, such as in France., Germany and Italy, and will replace the current bookings system, the MSC Online, which will only remain active for a few weeks to allow for a period of adaptation to the new platform.
