Youth Week offers many activities for the younger ones and runs from the 27th to the 31st of October.
For the second year in a row now, the PortoBay group organizes its Youth Week, from the 27th to the 31st of October, with activities meant for children in many of the group’s hotels, namely, The Cliff Bay, Vila Porto Mare Resort and PortoBay Serra Golf.
Outside the hotels’ walls there will be tours with the possibility of seeing dolphins and wales, golf workshops, rides in a vintage car, visits to the Toy and CR7 museums and even a sugar factory. These are some of the activities that younger guests have the opportunity to partake in.
Inside the hotels, guest children, and their relatives, have the opportunity of participating in pastry, cookies and pizza workshops, run by Chefs Benoît Sinthon, Cristiano Cuttieta and Luís Silva.
There will also be a swimming competition, treasure hunting, SPA massages for children and a book reading, in the voice of storyteller Sofia Maul. On Halloween, children can try out pumpkin carving and also trick or treat.
The event intends to provide children with a healthy holiday experience and thus make them interested in Madeira as a destination. The time of the year chosen for this coincides with the usual vacation time for some countries in northern Europe.
