Together with IVBAM, the hotel intends to promote the finesse, glamour and modernity that are so characteristic of Madeira Embroidery.
In a partnership with the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicrafts Institute, the Belmond Reid’s Palace is promoting an exhibition titled ‘Madeiran Embroidery… poetry happens!’.
According to a press release, the purpose is ‘to promote Madeira Embroidery as a sophisticated, glamorous and modern product while focusing on the values that underlie it, those of finesse, luxury, the poetic and the artistic.’
The exhibition will be in display from the 12th of May to the 12th of June, hosted in a hotel which is, itself, synonymous with finesse and glamour.
